Order review for kitchen, bath and millwork dealers

See the order the way the plans do.

Reveal compares your manufacturer order to the plans and elevations, line by line, and hands back a ranked report your designer can act on before the order is released.

One missed line becomes a remake.

On a kitchen order, the errors that cost the most are the quiet ones: a cabinet that does not match the elevation, a run that does not add up to the wall, a finished end that was never ordered, a panel depth nobody accounted for. They surface at install, when fixing them means freight, delay, and a conversation with your client.

Most shops catch these with a second set of eyes and a checklist. That works until the second set of eyes is busy. Reveal is that second review, every time, on every order.

How it works

You send the package. Reveal reads it, checks it, and returns a report.

1

Upload

The order or acknowledgment from the manufacturer, plus the plans and elevations, as PDFs.

2

Choose the manufacturer

Reveal applies that line's SKU conventions and ordering rules when it reads the order.

3

Review runs

Every line on the order is compared to the drawings. Reveal will not run a review without the documents it needs, and tells you what is missing.

4

Get your report

A ranked list of findings, each pointing to a line on the order and the page it came from.

What Reveal checks

The core review compares the order to the plans and elevations. Additional checks can be added where your shop's documents allow it.

Plans and elevations to order

Each SKU is decoded to width, height, and depth and matched to what the drawings show: cabinet sizes, hinging, finished ends, panels, fillers, and appliance openings.

Run lengths

Cabinets in each run are summed and compared to the wall, so a missing filler or an extra inch shows up before it reaches the field.

Applied panel depth

Panel and end treatments that add depth are accounted for, so alignment and clearance problems are flagged early.

Sign-off package

A checklist of the documents your shop requires before release, with anything missing called out.

Proposal to order

Where your proposal format can be mapped, Reveal checks that the header details and notes match what is being ordered.

Pricing checks

Where your pricing tool can be mapped, Reveal compares the client price to the order total so a margin leak is caught before release. Offered as an add-on.

Manufacturers supported today include Tedd Wood, Executive, Designers Choice, Fabuwood, Mouser, and Plain and Fancy. More are added with each pilot. Manufacturer names are used only to describe compatibility.

A report your designer can act on

Findings are ranked so the team knows where to look first. Anything Reveal cannot confirm is listed, not skipped.

Critical

Base cabinet depth does not match the elevation. The order lists a 24 inch deep unit at the range wall. The elevation notes a 27 inch deep run at that location.

Source: order line 14; elevation sheet A-3, north wall
Verify

Run length is 1 inch over the wall dimension. Cabinets in the west run sum to 121 inches. The plan shows a 120 inch wall. Confirm whether a scribe or filler adjustment is intended.

Unknown

Cannot confirm the finished end on the island. The elevation does not show the island's far side. Please confirm with the designer.

Source: order line 22; no matching drawing

Sample findings above are fictional and shown only to illustrate the format. Every finding in a real report cites the source document and the exact text or dimension. The designer and the dealer decide what to act on.

How Reveal is built to behave

  • It never silently skips a check. If it cannot verify something, it says so.
  • It never assumes. When in doubt, it flags.
  • It will not run a review without the documents it needs.
  • Every finding shows its source.
  • Humans decide. Reveal flags; your designer and your team make the call.
  • Reveal learns from your designers' feedback: findings marked wrong or missed shape what it looks for next.
  • What it learns from your shop stays with your shop.
  • Reveal is a review aid, not a guarantee.

Built by a working dealer

Reveal started inside a custom and semi-custom cabinetry company, where the review was done by hand on real orders. It was refined on real jobs, with real designer feedback, before anyone outside was asked to use it. It is built for multi-designer kitchen, bath, and millwork dealers who already review orders by habit and want that review to happen on every order, not only when there is time.

Getting started

We are starting with a small group of dealers.

1

Tell us about your shop

The manufacturers you order from, the documents you have on a typical job, and how many designers you have.

2

Send a past job

We run Reveal on an order you have already finished, so you can see what it finds against what you know happened.

3

Go live with your designers

Your team reviews findings and marks them right or wrong. Reveal gets better at your shop with each order.

Questions

Does Reveal replace my designer's review?

No. Reveal is a second review. It flags potential issues for your designer to confirm. Your team still decides what is right and what gets ordered.

What do I need to provide?

At minimum, the manufacturer order or acknowledgment and the plans and elevations. Reveal will not run without them and will tell you what is missing.

What if Reveal cannot tell?

It says so. Every unknown is listed as a line item for your designer to answer. Reveal does not guess.

Will my jobs or pricing be shared with other dealers?

No. Your orders, pricing, and what Reveal learns from your designers are kept separate from every other dealer's.

Does it work with my proposal and pricing tools?

The core review needs only the order and the drawings. Proposal and pricing checks depend on your formats, so they are set up with you as an add-on.

Is it guaranteed to catch every error?

No. Reveal flags potential issues and takes no responsibility for catching any or all errors or discrepancies. Review your order carefully before submitting.
